Update for the Transition of Murata® Trimmer Products to Bourns

As previously announced, Bourns entered into an agreement with Murata to acquire the assets of Murata’s trimming potentiometer product line. As of June 2016, Murata no longer accepts orders for their trimmer products.

Bourns is pleased to offer the following trimming potentiometer series for immediate ordering. To ease the transition from Murata® products to Bourns-manufactured replacement products, Murata granted Bourns permission to use Murata part numbers on Bourns-produced replacement products. The replacement Bourns® products with the Murata numerical part numbers will be manufactured to Murata specifications. Bourns’ standard warranty terms will apply to replacement Bourns® products based on Murata specifications.
