Ultra-Wideband MMIC Precision Fixed Attenuator Dice Usable to 40 GHz

17 August 2016 - Mini-Circuits’ YAT-D+ series of fixed value, absorptive MMIC attenuator dice includes models with attenuation values from 0 to 10 dB (in 1 dB steps) and 12, 15, 20, and 30 dB, all with outstanding flatness, low VSWR and 2W power handling from DC to 26.5 GHz. A simple modification, presented in application note AN-70-019, enables excellent performance all the way up to 40 GHz, supporting applications in the millimeter wave region such as 5G systems. Unpackaged die form enables users to integrate the attenuators directly into hybrids where minimizing size and weight is critical. The dice contain through-wafer Cu metallization vias to realize low thermal resistance and ultra-wideband operation.

YAT-D+ series ultra-wideband MMIC attenuator dice are available from stock in gel paks of 10, 50 and 100 KGD, starting at $10.95 each (qty. 10 KGD).
