The AK7738VQ is featured in Panasonics New Car-navigation System for Audio and Voice Processing
2016-06-07 | ReturnThe AK7738 has been adopted in Panasonic&lqquot&s 9-inch DYNABIG display SD car-navigation, Strada CN-F1D.
Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation’s (AKM) new generation audio and voice processor, the AK7738 has been adopted in Panasonic&lqquot&s new car-navigation system Strada CN-F1D released in Jun 2016.
Strada CN-F1D is a new concept car-navigation system with a large-size display and high-resolution playback function from Blu-ray Discs* and high-quality sound sources.
The CN-F1D integrates a high-speed DSP enabling playback of linear PCM sound sources with high-fidelity of up to 192kHz/24-bit. This is the highest quality capable on a Blu-ray Disc.
* High-resolution WAV and FLAC files are not supported. The CN-F1D can support linear PCM (uncompressed 192kHz/24-bit high-resolution source) format. DTS digital surround and Dolby digital format are compressed to 48kHz for playback.

New Generation DSP for Audio and Voice Processing with AudioHUB
The AK7738 is an audio/voice digital signal processor that realizes high performance hands-free voice process in addition to audio process. Surround sound processing and high performance noise and echo cancellations can be executed simultaneously by the Multi Core DSP (Digital Signal Processor). This device integrates two stereo ADC’s (A/D converter), one monaural ADC, two stereo DAC’s (D/A converter) and four asynchronous SRC’s (Sample Rate Converter). Advanced 32-bit DAC’s are adopted for analog outputs, realizing a high-quality playback of high-resolution sound sources.
The AK7738 is suitable for car audio, display audio, car navigation systems and hands-free systems.
