Riverside, California - May 13, 2016 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the G.Fast CO and DPU Side Protection PortNote® Solution to correspond with the Model PN-DESIGNKIT-58 Design Kit. PN-DESIGNKIT-58 contains samples of the three Bourns® components that are integral parts of the solution. The new G.Fast standard uses frequencies as high as 106 MHz to provide data rates up to 1 Gbps simultaneously in both the upstream and downstream directions. This solution protects these ports against lightning surge, power induction and AC power contact threats.
