Bourns Releases New PortNote® Solution and Design Kit for Off Line Converter Surge Protection

Riverside, California - May 13, 2016 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the PortNote®Solution and Design Kit for Off Line Converters.
This PortNote® Solution shows a solution for reducing the peak surge currents caused by differential surges, which in turn stress components like diodes and bulk capacitors. The kit contains five AC transient protectors (Model ACTP250J1BJR-S) and five 3 watt fusible resistors (Model FW30A10R0JA) for attenuating surge and short circuit protection.
