EMC Filter: Single-phase EMC Filter RSEC-2006 With Faston Terminals

TDK Corporation announces the successful development of the TDK-Lambda brand of RSEC-2006, a single-phase EMC filter featuring small dimensions and small current. The new product is ideal for use in small to medium size industrial equipment, covering a wide range of application possibilities for various customers. TDK-Lambda Corporation will start accepting orders for the new product from April 2016, and shipping will begin in July 2016.
The RSEC-2006 is a compact, small current single-phase EMC filter ideal for entry model implementation of countermeasures for EMI. In the same product category, our RSEL series with ten different types has been highly popular among customers for many years. The new EMC filter provides attenuation characteristics which is covered the all existing lineup in a single model, rated for a maximum current of 6 A. In order to facilitate use of the new filter in similar applications as the existing product, form factor and mounting compatibility have been built into the design, while simplifying the lineup to a single faston terminal type which provides optimum ease of use for customers.
In addition to optimized electrical characteristics and the adoption of a unified terminal type, automatization of production processes has also been realized, resulting in an EMC filter that perfectly fits the requirements of entry model level for countermeasures for EMI.
