Two New MMIC Amplifiers Provide High Directivity and Wide Frequency Range

3 February 2016 – Mini-Circuits’ has expanded our offering of MMIC amplifiers with two new wideband, high-directivity models.  The MNA-4A+ and MNA-4W+ both operate on a single supply voltage from +2.8V to +5V, giving you the option to minimize power consumption with low voltage operation or increase dynamic range with +5V operation.  Both amplifiers integrate the entire matching network, DC blocks, and RF choke all in a tiny 3x3mm package, saving space in dense PCB layouts and making them very easy to use.

  • Model MNA-4A+ covers the 0.5 to 2.5 GHz frequency range with 17 dB gain, ±1 dB gain flatness, +18 dBm output power at 1 dB compression, +29 dBm OIP3, and 4.5 dB noise figure.  High directivity ranging from 19 to 32 dB makes this model ideal for use as a buffer amplifier to minimize interactions between adjacent circuits.

  • Model MNA-4W+ covers the 0.5 to 4.5 GHz frequency range with 17 dB gain, ±1.9 dB gain flatness (from 0.5 to 3.5 GHz), +17 dBm output power at 1 dB compression, +29 dBm OIP3, and 4.5 dB noise figure.  High directivity ranging from 19 to 32 dB makes this model ideal for use as a buffer amplifier to minimize interactions between adjacent circuits.

MNA-4A+ and MNA-4W+ MMIC amplifiers are both available from stock for $2.30 each (qty. 20).
