Lisle, IL – CTS Corporation announces the release of a custom Brake Pedal for brake-by-wire systems. Building on over 20 years of expertise in developing and manufacturing accelerator pedals and sensors, the eBrake™ is another step forward in the CTS strategy to provide engineered solutions that enable electrified vehicles.

The CTS eBrake™ enables brake-by-wire, a type of electronic braking system (EBS). By controlling the braking system electronically, eBrake™ eliminates the need for the mechanical pushrod found in traditional brake systems while maintaining the driver’s braking confidence by imitating the pedal force of the existing mechanical pedal.
